as student i used Microsoft word mainly for papers. in this case we as students are not using it to its fullest potential and cannot see beyond following a certain format and using it to write certain files. in some cases Microsoft word is also in the case of students to do outlines for papers and also to distribute and organize workload when working with other people. In the case of professor, they use it widely not only for papers but for any written evaluation made for students. this includes quizzes, exams and even instructions for group projects. apart from that I've also heard professors using word to write letter and resumes and even emails. In an environment setting i have to say i have witness a lot of people violating copyright laws especially when it comes to books because a lot of the students in the class would download them or get copies of it seen as how they are so expensive. i have also witness how many students violate this same law by not accrediting the owner o...

The computational thinker standard...

At around age 7 i started using the internet almost daily, but that was mostly so that i could use it to download games online. That went on for a while until we had to use computers in school. this was thanks to a class that i took where they showed us how to use programs like word, excel and power point. once that class was over though i mainly only used word and power point. In this class i hope to learn about many different features of programs that i already use like on word and power point. i also hope to learn about other new programs that i have never used and how all of these relate to education and technology. i also hope to improve my digital literacy skills by a little more since i only know a little more than the basic for some programs. According to the questionnaire that i did i am apparently a more reflective, intuitive, verbal and sequen...
