The truth is that i don't have a lot of past experiences with technology unless we are talking about just using the internet. At around age 7 i started using the internet almost daily, but that was mostly so that i could use it to download games online. That went on for a while until we had to use computers in school. this was thanks to a class that i took where they showed us how to use programs like word, excel and power point. once that class was over though i mainly only used word and power point.

In this class i hope to learn about many different features of programs that i already use like on word and power point. i also hope to learn about other new programs that i have never used and how all of these relate to education and technology. i also hope to improve my digital literacy skills by a little more since i only know a little more than the basic for some programs.

According to the questionnaire that i did i am apparently a more reflective, intuitive, verbal and sequential type of learner. Reflective in this sense means that i'd rather think about stuff than doing it in order to apply it. Reflective learners also prefer to work alone and it is easier for them to take notes. Intuitive in this sense means that you prefer discovery and trying to innovate. This also means that intuitive people don't like repetition, can comprehend new concepts easier, work faster and more effectively through memorization and routine. On the verbal part, this refers more to the ability of understanding stuff through words and explanations. These types of learners are more likely to use summaries and outlines and work in groups. lastly in the sequential part, this are learners are the ones who need a sequence of steps in order to get through a process, these steps are use then logically to obtain solutions.
