The website which i chose to explore was the FSU school website what i can find mostly is information about them, s like their admissions and their calendar, ways to contact them and school board. with in the home site you can also checkout their departments such as administration, high school, middle school and elementary. you can also visit the different clubs and activities such as the Spanish club, Latino club, science club, the model UN, national honers societies and other organizations. you can look also into the different sports such as football, golf,  basketball, cheer leading and baseball. there is also a section for information for parents and teachers where you can check out the attendance, the bell schedule, resources for bullying, codes of conduct, parking services and other things of the sorts.  https://www.fsus.school/ file:///C:/Users/carlos%20morales/Desktop/Florida%20State%20University%20Schools%20_%20Homepage.pdf i envision myself using technology...

I believe that some of the 2.0 web technologies in the classroom are sites like wiki, youtube and twitter. some sites that are not as useful would be sites like facebook, instagram or snapchat. the reason being that yes, these apps are actually very good for communication and maintaining contact with people but for most students all of these can just be a distraction. If these were used in class, people would be constantly checking theirs or others feed and not be paying attention to lecture.  One very interesting tool which i recommend a lot is youtube. YouTube is a very useful tool in the sense that you can learn lot of about things you didn't know just with watching videos. this app is also widely used when people want to share videos with other people, which can be very useful in the classroom to showcase and support certain information especially in lectures. https://www.youtube.com/ the technology advancement which i think holds more promising is the just internet in...

The website is relevant because of the fact the information is organized, error free, it has an identifiable institution and it has relevant topics covered on the website. it also has authority because of the fact that it has an institution as well as contact info and the domain is .org. it also has good accuracy by providing good quality resources and well researched fact. finally it appears to have a purpose, which provides actual facts, its more of a primary origin and its purpose is for education. ...

my experiences in twitter have been very different from what im used to in order social medias, this might be because of the fact that i created a twitter account for a different reason and because it is my first time using this app. i only created the app because it was a requirement for the class and since its my first time using it i always use the same format for my tweets. I have only been interacting with the other students in the classroom and the professor and i find these interactions very beneficial. especially when im scrolling down the feed and see news and other things that i dint know about. i think twitter might be helpful in my career as school counselor because it can help me keep in touch with students and be up to date with news regard my filed of study. the digital divide affects educational success because of the fact that this gap of accessibility in technology between different groups of people causes certain groups to be in a disadvantage. people with less tech...

I believe that with my current knowledge about technology, i could teach the ELA sl.5 of using digital media. this is because of the fact that i am very familiar with certain processes involving the use of a digital files such as pictures,  audio recordings, graphs in order to display them on presentations. once all of these files are displayed, they are then used to explain, strengthen and direct student's attention  towards the main ideas and arguments. Not only that but also any information found from research will be further understood and more interesting if supported by these files. the ELA standards which im not sure im prepared to teach is the RL.7 Multimedia literature standard,  because of the fact that i don't have a very strong background in literature and even though i would know how to use certain media elements like digital texts, visual or oral presentations, videos and audio files, they are harder to interpret in the reading. Some of the skills that i l...
